Pine Knob Music Theatre Prohibited Items & Entry Policies
BAG POLICY
To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact and ensure a more seamless entry process, our venues have adopted a no bag policy.
- BAGS LARGER THAN 4” X 6” X 1.5” INCLUDING BAGS ASSOCIATED WITH LAPTOPS, TABLETS, CAMERAS AND BINOCULARS ARE PROHIBITED.
Single compartment bags, wallets, clutches, fannie packs, and clear bags smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" with or without a handle or strap are permitted. - Exceptions to this policy include: Bags required for dietary or medical necessity. Medical neccessity includes Diaper bags, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.
Medical or diaper bags must measure smaller than 16” x 16" x 8"
PROHIBITED ITEMS
In the interest of our guests’ safety, the following items may not be brought into the venue:
- Air horns, fog horns, bullhorns, cowbells, bells, horns, kazoos, whistles, vuvuzelas, didgeridoos, and other noisemakers
- Aerosol cans and items containing contents under pressure, including hairspray, mace, and pepper spray
- Alcoholic beverages of any kind
- Animals (except approved service animals)
- Apparel including t-shirts, hats, jackets, or other wearables that exhibit words or images that are vulgar, obscene, profane, or discriminatory in nature, or intended to incite violence or cause disruption
- Banners, signs, and flags larger than 11" x 17"
- Banners, signs, and flags that obstruct the sight lines of other guests, cover existing signage, display messages that are obscene, offensive, commercial, or political in nature, or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests
- Banners, signs, and flags that are paraded around the venue or affixed to any permanent structure, pole, or stick
- Bags larger than 4" x 6" x 1.5", including bags associated with laptops, tablets, iPads, cameras, and binoculars
- Brooms, poles, bats, clubs, hockey sticks, selfie sticks, frisbees, missile-like objects, balloons, beach balls, and other inflatable items
- Glass, aluminum, or metal bottles and containers. A single, crushable, empty plastic water bottle of 20 oz. or less is permitted.
- Camping chairs — double chairs and chairs exceeding 12" from the ground to the bottom of the seat when unfolded
- Coolers, hard-sided or soft-sided (except for religious, dietary, or medical necessity)
- Drones and/or unmanned aircraft flown inside or outside of the venue, including surrounding parking areas
- Fireworks or any type of explosive
- Laser pointers and/or any device that could create an optical illusion or interfere with depth or distance perception, such as pinwheels
- Marijuana, illegal narcotics, and any related accessories or paraphernalia
- Masks (ski masks, balaclavas, costume masks), except those needed for religious or medical reasons, unless expressly requested by the performing artist
- Outside food and beverages of any kind (except for religious, dietary, or medical necessity)
- Poster tubes made of plastic and/or metal
- Professional or commercial cameras with interchangeable or detachable lenses larger than eight (8) inches, or other audio/visual recording devices (e.g., GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles)
- Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, roller skates, hoverboards, bicycles, and/or any wheeled vehicle (wheeled vehicles for ADA use are permitted)
- Smoking is not permitted in the pavilion, restrooms, sponsor decks, or any food and beverage areas
- Spiked bracelets, spiked belts, spiked neck collars, spiked boots, chains long enough to wrap around a neck, sharp pointed rings, or sharp pointed jackets
- Video and/or audio recording devices, including tripods, monopods, GoPro, Google Glass, and eyeglass video recording devices
- Umbrellas with pointed tips that could be used as a weapon
- Weapons of any kind, including firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, mace, brass knuckles, toy or fake weapons, squirt guns, and knives of all types and sizes
- Any other item deemed dangerous, inappropriate, or otherwise in violation of the Guest Code of Conduct Policy.
PERMITTED ITEMS
- Baby bottles
- Bags, wallets, clutches, fanny packs, and clear bags smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5"
- Battery-operated/rechargeable handheld fans
- Battery-operated coats, gloves, and vests
- Binoculars
- Blankets
- Bottled water in a single, clear, factory-sealed plastic container of 20 oz. or less. A single empty plastic water bottle is also permitted.
- Cameras without a detachable lens larger than eight (8) inches
- Collapsible or beach chairs that do not exceed 12" from the ground to the bottom of the seat when unfolded. Note: chairs may not be permitted at select events.
- Diaper or parenting bags smaller than 16" x 16" x 8"
- Food in a single serving for religious, dietary, or medical necessity
- Headphones
- Laptops, tablets, and iPads
- Masks may only be worn if expressly requested by the performing artist and only while seated
- Medical bags required for dietary or medical necessity, smaller than 16" x 16" x 8"
- Seat cushions with a soft surface (no metal surfaces)
- Signs and banners smaller than 11" x 17" that are not affixed to any pole or stick
- Strollers are permitted inside the venue but not in the seating area
- Small portable radios
- Wheeled vehicles for ADA necessity
- Umbrellas with non-pointed tips are permitted but may not be opened during events unless a rain delay is in progress. Umbrellas that obstruct the view of other guests may be confiscated.
ENTRY POLICIES
All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes:
- A walk-through metal detector
- Handheld wand (if applicable)
- Bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy above).
- This policy is subject to change, based on select events.
The venue has a no re-entry policy. Guests who exit the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.
GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
Ilitch Sports + Entertainment is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To provide these types of experiences, we have standards and expectations for all guests and visitors. The Guest Code of Conduct outlines those expectations and policies. Treat everyone, including opposing fans, with respect and dignity by displaying proper etiquette as outlined below.
- Guests should refrain from any action that disrupts other guests' enjoyment of the game or event.
- Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased, or abusive language, including betting related speech and behavior, directed at guests, venue personnel, players, umpires, officials, artists or anyone else. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
- Refrain from wearing any clothing or displaying signage/products that contains obscene or indecent messages or signs.
- Ilitch Sports + Entertainment reserves the right to prohibit anything deemed inappropriate.
- Do not fight, throw objects, or attempt to enter or interfere with the progress of the game, ball, or playing surface.
- Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and avoid intoxication, diminished capacity or impairment by alcohol or drugs. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.
