Adele will return to North America for her first tour in five years, including two dates at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7. Both shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets at $149.50, $89.50, $79.50, $59.50 and $39.50 reserved go on sale this Thursday, December 17 at 10 a.m. at Livenation.com, Palacenet.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations. The North American tour dates begin on July 5 in St. Paul, MN at Xcel Energy Center and run through November 15 in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes. The tour will have multiple shows in most markets, including six nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles and six nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden (see live.adele.com/north-america for full list of dates). These dates will follow an already announced sold out tour of the U.K. and Europe.
Adele recently played her first full concert in over four years at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall. This special ‘one night only’ performance was recorded for a TV special titled “Adele Live in New York City,” which airs tonight (Monday, Dec. 14) on NBC at 10pm EST/9pm CST. The hour long special will feature songs from Adele’s catalog as well as behind the scenes footage of the evening coming together.
Adele released her third album 25 on November 20 and it went straight to #1 in over 100 countries around the world. In the U.S., Adele’s 25 is the only album to sell over three million copies in one week and the only album to sell over a million albums in two separate weeks. 25 is the #1 album in the U.S for three consecutive weeks since its release.
