Dominic Fike announces an upcoming Summer tour, “Don’t Stare At The Sun,” in support of his sophomore album Sunburn that is set for release on July 7 via Columbia Records. The announcement comes on the heels of him detailing Sunburn for fans last week and sharing new song "Ant Pile," the video for which arrives today alongside news of the tour. The Reed Bennett-directed video offers a glimpse into Dom's upbringing in Florida, capturing the essence of his formative years, and complements the previously released "Dancing In The Courthouse" video. Produced by Live Nation the tour will stop at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on Friday, August 25 at 8 p.m.
Dom gave fans a taste of what they can expect from the upcoming Live Nation-produced tour in his sold-out 2022 fall/winter Out Of Order tour and breakout Coachella set, which received praise from the likes of Drake, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Cara Delevigne and Rolling Stone, who remarked that "his talent jumped out every time he took the mic." During that set, Dom delighted fans with the just-released single "Dancing In The Courthouse" along with debuting "Ant Pile" ahead of its formal release last week.
Running from mid-July through the end of August, the tour will include stops at iconic venues such as New York's Prospect Park, Los Angeles's The Greek Theatre and Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion, marking the biggest venues Dom has played to date.
The album is available for pre-order now and will be released on standard CD and vinyl formats, an exclusive CD edition with 60-page photo book as well as deluxe and color vinyl editions (the former of which is on black vinyl with a 24-page insert booklet and the latter of which comes on Florida orange vinyl with a 12-page insert booklet).
