Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Oakland University Student Programming Board present international hip-hop sensation Iggy Azalea with Magic! at Meadow Brook Music Festival on Friday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets at $40 in the pavilion and $25 on the lawn go on sale Monday, July 21 at 10 a.m. at Palacenet.com, The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre Ticket Stores and all Ticketmaster locations. Azalea has enjoyed a breakout year in 2014 with the release of her first studio album, The New Classic.  Featuring the singles “Work,” “Bounce” and “Change Your Life,” the album debuted in the top five on several music charts worldwide, including #3 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s fourth single, “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX, reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the fourth solo female rapper ever to top the Hot 100.  The single also topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.

The 24-year-old native of Australia recently received seven nominations for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air on Sunday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET.

MAGIC! is a Canadian reggae fusion quartet best known for their hit single “Rude,” which has claimed top-five chart positions in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. Signed to Sony Music Entertainment, the band’s debut album Don’t Kill the Magic was released worldwide in July 2014. Their song, “This is Our Time,” is featured on the official 2014 FIFA World Cup album. Magic! is led by Grammy award winning producer/songwriter Nasri Atweh, along with. Mark Pelli, Alex Tanas and Ben Spivak.
