The 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Asking Alexandria and Trivium will hit the main stage at DTE Energy Music Theatre on July 17 at 1 p.m.

Tickets at $94, $69 and $42 in the pavilion, $28 on the lawn and a limited number of $92 lawn four-packs go are on sale at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace Ticket Store and all Ticketmaster locations. Tickets may be also charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 800.745.3000. There are a limited number of $20 lawn tickets available during the first weekend the show goes on sale. Tickets are $5 more day of show (excluding lawn four-packs).

The seventh annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will also feature other notable acts including Cannibal Corpse, Miss May I and rapper Ice-T’s metal group Body Count — who drew infamy in the Nineties over their song “Cop Killer” – among others. The trek will also be the first U.S. tour since the death of Suicide Silence frontman Mitch Lucker in a motorcycle accident; All Shall Perish frontman Hernan “Eddie” Hermida is the group's new vocalist.

In addition to Main Stage, the roving hard rock and metal fest will feature four stages at most dates, giving a platform to 20 bands. The rest of the lineup includes Mushroomhead, Emmure, Veil of Maya, Upon a Burning Body, Texas Hippie Coalition, Darkest Hour, Ill Niño, Wretched, Islander, King 810 and Erimha.

This year’s festival will also feature pro motocross star Jimmy Fitzpatrick and his Fitz Army and a motorsports exhibition featuring Unknown Industries Harley-Davidson Freestyle Riders. Festival organizers promised “surprises and attractions” throughout the festival.
