The Bounce TV Summer Music Festival starring Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Patti LaBelle with special guest Ruben Studdard comes to DTE Energy Music Theatre on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
Tickets at $85.75 and $55.75 in the pavilion and $29.75 on the lawn go on sale this Saturday, August 2 at 10 a.m. at Palacenet.com, Livenation.com, The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre Ticket Stores and all Ticketmaster locations. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly have been making hits since 1977, including “Before I Let Go” to “Golden Time of Day,” “Joy and Pain,” “Southern Girl” and “Happy Feelings.” They have recorded eight studio albums, which all went certified Gold, and the 1981 live album, Live in New Orleans, and 1996 compilation, Anthology, also were certified Gold.
Patti LaBelle is widely regarded as the queen of rock & soul music. She has received acclaim for many of her songs, including "Lady Marmalade," "When You Talk About Love," and "New Attitude." Her 1991 release, Burnin’, reached gold status and landed the singer her first Grammy Award. Her live album, Live! One Night Only (1998) earned LaBelle her second Grammy.
Ruben Studdard rose to fame as winner of the second season of American Idol in 2003. Since then, he has released six albums including his most recent, Unconditional Love, in February 2014. The album includes the single, “Meant To Be,” which Studdard introduced on the season finale of The Biggest Loser.
