(DETROIT – March 18, 2019) – Chris Stapleton announces an “All-American Road Show” tour stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre with special guests Margo Price and The Marcus King Band on Friday, August 2 at 7 p.m.

Born and raised in Kentucky, Christ Stapleton is an American musician who spent years in Nashville as a sought-after songwriter, furnishing songs for numerous artists. Stapleton released his debut solo album, Traveller, in 2015 and became the first artist to ever to win Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards. In 2016, Stapleton won Grammy® awards for Best Country Solo Performance and Traveller won Best Country Album. In May 2017, he released From a Room: Volume 1, which won the CMA award for Album of the Year. Later that year he released From a Room: Volume 2. In 2018 he won three more Grammys for From a Room, Volume 1: Best Country Album, Best Country Song for “Broken Halos,” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Either Way.”
