(DETROIT – May 11, 2018) – Three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean announced that he will switch on his headlining “High Noon Neon Tour” this summer. Aldean, along with special guests Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina, will take the energy-charged tour to 34 cities across the country, including DTE Energy Music Theatre on Friday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets ($34.75 on the United Shore lawn and $59.50, $79.50 and $104.75 in the pavilion) go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at 313Presents.com, Livenation.com, Little Caesars Arena XFINITY box office and Ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call (800) 745-3000.
“We named this tour after a song that’s on my record,” said Aldean. “It reminds me of the bars I grew up playing in Georgia when I was getting started. We’re going to bring some of that raw energy out this summer with Luke and Lauren – I know we’re all ready.”
Aldean’s hard-charging eighth studio album Rearview Town (Broken Bow Records) has earned the #1 position on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Album chart. Becoming only the second country act to score four consecutive chart-toppers in history, Aldean draws 183,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release making it the biggest Country debut of 2018.
Aldean's sure-footedness has helped define the genre’s 21st century, which plays into his 19 #1 hits, more than 15 million total album sales and dozens of sold-out stadium shows. Continuing with that momentum, the new music follows Aldean's last three albums that each bowed at #1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and all seven of his previous LPs have achieved Platinum certification or better. Aldean's wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite for the format as he has headlined the biggest stadiums in the United States where “Aldean and his band rock hard and precise” (Houston Chronicle). River House Artists/Columbia Nashville singer-songwriter, Luke Combs, stormed onto the Country music landscape as “one of the format’s burliest and brightest stars” (Vulture) in 2017 with two consecutive Platinum-certified multi-week #1 hit radio singles, “Hurricane” and “When It Rains It Pours,” from his Gold-certified debut album, This One’s For You. Named Billboard’s Top 100 Artist and Top New Country Artist of 2017, Combs made Country radio history as the first new solo male artist to achieve a multi-week #1 since 2001. The CMA, CMT and iHeartRadio Award nominated road warrior is currently on his sold-out first headlining “Don’t Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour,” has performed on all-star lineups for CMA Music Fest, Bonnaroo & Austin City Limits and joins Jason Aldean on his nationwide tour beginning May 2018.
