Tickets For Both Shows Go On Sale Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m.
(DETROIT – May 3, 2021) — 101.1 WRIF presents the hardest rockin’ party in Southeast Michigan as RIFF FEST 2021 unloads its rock arsenal for a fun-filled weekend with two exciting shows across two stages at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19, 2021. Day one of Riff Fest on Saturday, September 18 will feature main stage performances by Rob Zombie, Chevelle, Avatar, Candlebox and Ayron Jones. Twiztid, South of Eden and Mac Saturn will kick off RIFF Fest 2021 on the festival stage located in DTE’s West parking area beginning at 2 p.m. Gates and access to the festival stage will open at 1:30 p.m. Access to reserved pavilion seating and general admission lawn for main stage performances will open at 5 p.m.
Riff Fest weekend continues on Sunday, September 19 with Megadeth and Lamb Of God joining forces with special guests Trivium and In Flames. The lineup on the Motor City Riffs Stage is to be announced with gates opening at 4 p.m.
“With so many live music fans having to wait it out during the pandemic, RIFF Fest will be a celebration for the ages,” said WRIF Director of Programming Scott Jameson.
Tickets purchased for the previously scheduled Megadeth and Lamb of God dates (July 1, 2020 and July 9, 2021) will be honored for the newly scheduled Sept. 19 date and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. Ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled date now have 30 days, or until Tuesday, June 1, 2021, to request a refund at point of purchase. All venue box offices are currently closed. Tickets for both shows will be sold separately and go on sale Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com. VIP Packages are also available.
