313 Presents Attracts Capacity Crowds During Opening Month
(DETROIT – October 20, 2017) – 313 Presents, a joint venture between Olympia Entertainment and Palace Sports & Entertainment, announced that the state-of-the-art Little Caesars Arena opened its inaugural concert roster with 10 consecutive sold-out concerts.
Michigan's own Kid Rock was the kickoff artist for the grand opening of Detroit’s world-class, innovative Little Caesars Arena as he and special guests Robert Randolph and The Family Band and Sweet Tea Trio opened the venue with six straight sold out performances on September 12, 13, 15, 16, 19 and 20.
Multiple Grammy® Award-winning global superstar Ed Sheeran with special guest James Blunt continued the string of sellouts on September 27, followed by two more sold out dates from the legendary Paul McCartney as part of his “One On One Tour” on October 1 and 2. Last night, Grammy® Award-winning band Imagine Dragons with special guests Grouplove and K.Flay electrified concert goers to record the venue’s 10th consecutive sellout crowd.
Little Caesars Arena’s star-studded and rapidly growing event roster continues next week as Fall Out Boy brings its 20-city “M A N I A Tour” with special guests Blackbear and Jaden Smith on Tuesday, October 24, followed by “An Evening with the Eagles” on Friday, October 27 and global music icon Janet Jackson on Sunday, October 29.
