RAY LAMONTAGNE TO BRING “2018 PART OF THE LIGHT SUMMER TOUR” WITH SPECIAL GUEST NEKO CASE TO MEADOW BROOK AMPHITHEATRE JULY 1

(DETROIT – March 1, 2018) – Grammy® Award winner Ray LaMontagne has announced his “2018 Part Of The Light Summer Tour” with support from very special guest Neko Case will visit Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on the campus of Oakland University on Sunday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets ($39.50 and four-packs at $118 on the lawn and $49.50, $59.50 and $79.50 in the pavilion) go on sale Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com, The Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Arena XFINITY box offices and Ticketmaster.com. The tour is in support of Ray’s upcoming seventh studio album, Part Of The Light, due out on May 18 via RCA Records. The album was written and produced by Ray LaMontagne and will feature the first single, “Such A Simple Thing.” Fans that pre-order the album through Ray’s website will be able to stream a live version of the song before its release.

Also, starting today at 2 p.m. through Sunday, March 4 at 10 p.m., fans who pre-order the new album on Ray’s website will be given a code on Monday, March 5 to purchase tickets to the tour early.

Ray LaMontagne has released 6 studio albums, 5 of which have reached Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and Billboard’s Digital Albums chart.  Additionally, his 2010 album God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise won the Grammy for Best Folk Album and was nominated in the coveted Song of The Year category for “Beg Steal or Borrow.” 

Each release from his catalogue over the last 13 years carries its own character and feel.
