Sold Out: Saturday’s “Duel In The D”, Presented By Meijer, Between Michigan And Michigan State At Little Caesars Arena

(DETROIT – February 5, 2025) – 313 Presents has announced that Saturday’s “Duel in the D”, presented by Meijer, between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University at Little Caesars Arena is sold out. College hockey fans can catch all the action of Saturday’s game between the in-state rivals on Big Ten Network at 8:00 p.m.

The “Duel in the D” features the most-played rivalry in college hockey, as the annual clash at Little Caesars Arena will mark the 352nd meeting between the historic programs. The Wolverines lead the all-time series, 182-144-24.

This season, Michigan captured a 3-2 overtime win in Ann Arbor on Jan. 17 before Michigan State responded with a 4-1 decision in East Lansing on Jan. 18. The two teams will square off again in East Lansing on Friday, Feb. 7 before the fourth and final regular-season matchup at Little Caesars Arena.

The “Iron D” trophy is on the line for the winner of the “Duel in the D” for the ninth time since the trophy’s creation in 2016. Michigan State, currently ranked No. 2 in the nation by the USCHO poll, reclaimed the “Iron D” Trophy last season after the Wolverines, currently ranked No. 13, triumphed in each of the previous six matchups at Little Caesars Arena.
