*TRAFFIC ADVISORY* ELF THE MUSICAL AT THE FOX THEATRE AND DETROIT RED WINGS AT LITTLE CAESARS ARENA NOVEMBER 21
(DETROIT – November 19, 2018) – Woodward Avenue will be closed in preparation for the Thanksgiving Day Parade starting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21. In addition to traffic restrictions, multiple events will be taking place in The District Detroit at the Masonic Temple, the Fillmore, the Fox Theatre and Little Caesars Arena. 313 Presents is strongly advising guests attending Elf The Musical at the Fox Theatre and the Detroit Red Wings vs. Boston Bruins game at Little Caesars Arena to arrive early and secure advanced parking online through ParkDistrictDetroit.com.
Patrons parking West of Woodward Avenue are encouraged to exit I-75 and M-10 on Grand River Avenue. It is recommended that guests wishing to park East of Woodward exit I-75 at Mack Avenue and take Brush Street or John R. South. Exiting Madison Avenue from I-75 is also an option by taking Madison Avenue north to Witherell Street for guests wishing to park east of Woodward Avenue.
Guests are encouraged to download The District Detroit Mobile App presented by XFINITY. Available in the App Store and Google Play Store, fans can secure parking in advance at any of the Olympia Development-managed parking lots and even find the best route to parking lots and venues.
