Patrons Urged to Arrive Early and Prepare for Increased Traffic on Roads Due to Reconstruction and Widening of Sashabaw Road
(DETROIT – May 14, 2019) – 313 Presents opens the 2019 summer concert season at DTE Energy Music Theatre with Slayer – “Leg Five: North America” of its Final World Tour with special guests Lamb Of God, Amon Amarth and Cannibal Corpse – on Sunday, May 19 at 6 p.m.
In anticipation of increased traffic due to reconstruction and widening of Sashabaw Road to five lanes from I-75 to just south of Clarkston Road in Independence Twp., the I-75 modernization project and other I-75 road and bridge projects, 313 Presents is strongly advising guests to arrive early for this Sunday’s concert.

Throughout the entire 2019 concert season, I-75 will be under construction from Coolidge Highway to 13 Mile Road as Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) continues its work on the I-75 modernization project (www.modernize75.com).
MDOT is also repairing 21 bridges on I-75 between South Boulevard and Baldwin Road, and resurfacing 5.5 miles between South Boulevard and Giddings Road, including the resurfacing of ramps at Chrysler Drive and M-24. Two-lanes of I-75 will be open in each direction via traffic shifts during peak travel times. Both directions of I-75 may be reduced to a single lane on nights and weekends.
