Pine Knob Music Theatre Prohibited Items & Entry Policies
BAG POLICY
To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact and ensure a more seamless entry process, our venues have adopted a no bag policy.
- BAGS LARGER THAN 4” X 6” X 1.5” INCLUDING BAGS ASSOCIATED WITH LAPTOPS, TABLETS, CAMERAS AND BINOCULARS ARE PROHIBITED.
Single compartment bags, wallets, clutches, fannie packs, and clear bags smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" with or without a handle or strap are permitted. - Exceptions to this policy include: Bags required for dietary or medical necessity. Medical neccessity includes Diaper bags, Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices.
Medical or diaper bags must measure smaller than 16” x 16" x 8"
PROHIBITED ITEMS
In the interest of our guests’ safety, the following items may not be brought into the venue:
- Air horns, fog horns, bullhorns, cowbells, bells, horns, kazoos, whistles, vuvuzelas, didgeridoos, and other noisemakers
- Aerosol cans, and items that contain contents under pressure, including hairspray, mace, and pepper spray
- Alcoholic beverages of any kind
- Animals (except approved service animals)
- Banners, signs, flags larger than 11” x 17”
- Banners, signs, and flags may not obstruct the sight lines of other guests, cover up existing signage, exhibit messages that are obscene, offensive, commercial or political in nature, create a disturbance or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests
- Banners, signs, and flags may not be paraded around the venue or affixed to any permanent structure, pole or stick
- Bags larger than 4” x 6” x 1.5” including bags associated with laptops, tablets, iPads, cameras and binoculars
- Baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs, poles, brooms, selfie-sticks, frisbees, fishing nets, fishing poles, missile-like objects that can be thrown, balloons, beach balls or other inflatable items
- Beverages (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Bottles, glass, aluminum, or metal containers (except for one 20-ounce plastic bottle of factory sealed water).
- Cameras with detachable lenses longer than eight (8) inches
- Clothing or garments that exhibit messages that are obscene, offensive, commercial or political in nature, create a disturbance or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests
- Coolers, hard sided or soft sided coolers (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Drones and/or Unmanned Aircraft flown inside or outside of the venue, including the surrounding parking areas
- Fireworks or any types of explosives
- Laser pointers and/or any device that could create an optical illusion or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels
- Marijuana and/or illegal narcotics including accessories or paraphernalia associated with marijuana and/or illegal narcotics use
- Outside food and beverage of any kind (except for religious, dietary or for medical necessity)
- Guests are permitted to bring in a single bottle of water in a clear, factory-sealed plastic container that is 20 ounces or less. A single, crushable, empty plastic water bottle that is 20 ounces or less is also permitted.
- Poster tubes that are plastic/and or metal
- Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, roller skates, hover boards, bicycles, and/or any wheeled vehicle (wheeled vehicles for ADA are permitted)
- Video and/or sound recording devices including tri-pods, mono-pods, GoPro, Google Glass, and eyeglass video recording devices
- Weapons of any kind including firearms, ammunition, pepper spray, mace, brass knuckles, toy or fake weapons, squirt guns or super soakers and knives of all types and sizes
- Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate or otherwise violating the Guest Code of Conduct Policy.
PERMITTED ITEMS
- Baby bottles (glass, aluminum, or metal containers are prohibitted)
- Bags, wallets, clutches, fannie packs and clear bags smaller than 4” x 6” x 1.5”
- Bags required for dietary or medical necessity.
- Battery operated personal fans, coats, gloves, and vests
- Binoculars
- Blankets
- Bottled water in a single, clear, factory-sealed plastic container that is 20 ounces or less. A single, crushable, empty plastic water bottle that is 20 ounces or less is also permitted.
- Cameras with detachable lenses shorter than eight (8) inches
- Cardboard poster tubes
- Collapsible chairs or beach chairs are permitted as long as they do not exceed 12” from the ground to the bottom of the seat when unfolded. Due to safety concerns, there may be some events in which chairs are not permitted.
- Diaper bags (must be smaller than 16” x 16” x 8”)
- Food that is a single serving for religious, dietary, or medical necessity
- Headphones
- Knitting needles
- Laptops, Tablets and iPads without a case or sleeve.
- Medical bags required for dietary or medical necessity which includes Oxygen, Insulin, Epi-pens and other medical devices. Medical bags must measure smaller than 16” x 16" x 8"
- Seat cushions with soft surface, no metal surfaces
- Signs and banners less than 11” x 17” in length that are not affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic, or any other hard material
- Strollers
- Radios (small portable radios)
- Wheeled vehicles for ADA necessity
- Umbrellas with non-pointed tips that do not obstruct the view of guests
- Umbrellas may not be activated during events, unless there is an event rain delay in progress
- Umbrellas that obstruct the view of guests, may be confiscated.
ENTRY POLICIES
All guests will be subject to screening upon entry, which includes:
- A walk-through metal detector
- Handheld wand (if applicable)
- Bag search (medical and diaper bags only. See bag policy above).
- This policy is subject to change, based on select events.
The venue has a no re-entry policy. Guests who exit the venue will not be permitted to re-enter.
GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
Ilitch Sports + Entertainment is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests. To provide these types of experiences, we have standards and expectations for all guests and visitors. The Guest Code of Conduct outlines those expectations and policies. Treat everyone, including opposing fans, with respect and dignity by displaying proper etiquette as outlined below.
- Guests should refrain from any action that disrupts other guests' enjoyment of the game or event.
- Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased, or abusive language, including betting related speech and behavior, directed at guests, venue personnel, players, umpires, officials, artists or anyone else. This includes the use of such language, actions or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage violence, a confrontation or threat of physical harm.
- Refrain from wearing any clothing or displaying signage/products that contains obscene or indecent messages or signs.
- Ilitch Sports + Entertainment reserves the right to prohibit anything deemed inappropriate.
- Do not fight, throw objects, or attempt to enter or interfere with the progress of the game, ball, or playing surface.
- Consume alcoholic beverages responsibly and avoid intoxication, diminished capacity or impairment by alcohol or drugs. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages.
